homeopathy

Homeopaths take a holistic view of illness, looking at the whole person, rather than just the physical, mental or emotional state in isolation. Symptoms of illness are regarded as evidence of the body’s natural efforts to heal it, and these clues are used to guide the homeopath in prescribing a remedy that will counter-act the illness and stimulate the body’s self healing abilities.

Homeopathy is safe, non-toxic and non-addictive. It can be used by anyone of any age, including pregnant women and babies.

The remedies are made from natural substances which are diluted many times over, making them entirely safe and non-invasive. Most of the remedies will be small pills that dissolve under your tongue and taste nice. Soft tablets are used for babies and young children, as these dissolve as soon as they are put in the mouth.

Homeopathy can help with most complaints whether they are mental, physical or emotional. It can also help if there is no clear diagnosis, but you just don’t feel well. People often try homeopathy when they have tried other forms of treatment and have not resolved their health problems.

As homeopathy is a holistic medicine, it will not interfere with any medicines your doctor may be giving you, or other complementary treatments.

Homeopathy can help you to reduce the prescribed medicines you may be taking but only with the supervision of the homeopathic practitioner and your general practitioner.

If you want to find out more about scientific evidence for homeopathy please look up the Society of Homeopaths website on Society of Homeopaths.

Homeopathic clinic appointments last for 1 hour.

Acute Drop-In clinic appointments are also offered and they last for approximately 15 minutes.
